Naot Footwear Overview 2025

Today, we’re going to do the Naot footwear overview, breaking down their best features and benefits. To see everything, make sure you watch the video below.

As you know, I’ve been fitting shoes for decades, and one of the brands that has always impressed me has been an Israeli brand called Naot.

What makes this brand so special?

First off, Naot is famous for their cork inner soles that can actually be removed from the shoe.

This is a big deal for long-term wear. That being said, the way Naot organizes their shoes is pretty clever.

They group their styles by collection names. For example, Utopia or Allegro.

Each collection is built on the same last (the foot-shaped mold they use to make the shoe) and contains the same type of insert.

The difference? Just the profile and colors.

This makes shopping easier once you know which collection fits your foot best.

What Type Of Models Are Offered?

Their range covers everything from adjustable sandals (slingbacks) to boots and oxfords.

Speaking of sandals, the adjustable straps you’ll find are great for really securing your foot properly.

For men, I personally love the Lappland model. I once ran a 5K in this shoe! That should say a lot about Naot’s.

Their boots deserve special mention.

They’re remarkably lightweight, feature that famous inner sole system, and often include smart design elements that make them easy to get on and off.

But what I really like is that Naot’s shoes are “orthotic friendly.”

This means the custom orthotics we make can fit perfectly into their shoes. It’s the best of both worlds – stylish shoes with proper support.

Where To Start With Naot?

I’m often asked which pair to start with.

My advice? It depends on your needs, but I typically recommend beginning with their classic styles that offer adjustability.

The more you can customize the fit to your unique foot, the happier you’ll be.

So if you’re looking for a high-quality shoe, sandal, or boot…

That is also stylish AND can work with different inserts and orthotics…

Naot’s can be a good option for you.

If you’d like to try any of what you’ve seen from the Naot footwear overview, scroll down and schedule a time to come in, and I’ll help you find the perfect pair.

Hoka Clifton 10 Shoe Review

Today, we’re going to dive in and do the Hoka Clifton 10 shoe review.

Hoka Clifto 10 shoe review

As someone who’s spent years helping people navigate the complex world of footwear, I’m excited to break down why I like this version of the Clifton’s.

Before we dive into some of the technical specs, let’s first talk about what I really like about the Clifton 10s.

The first thing I like, just like the previous model, is that there is quite a bit of cushioning.

Not as much as the Bondi, but there’s still quite a bit.

They are very comfortable, will fit a range of different feet, and offer quite a bit of support.

Hoka Clifto 10 shoe review

Plus, the upper now has a bit more of a snug midfoot and a roomier toe box compared to previous models.

It breathes well, and moisture is wicked away quickly.

On top of that, Hoka refined the heel as well. It’s been slightly redesigned to provide a better fit and keep things comfortable.

All of this was done to give it a bit more stable structure and feel.

One thing to note that I personally like is that the Clifton 10’s also come in wide and extra-wide widths to accommodate an even broader range of foot shapes.

Hoka Clifto 10 shoe review

Also, like the previous model and other models in the Hoka lineup, they have their patented Metarocker, which helps to propel your feet forward.

The Big Change

With all of the changes mentioned above, there is one that wasn’t mentioned.

And this is the BIG change that Hoka made.

That is that they’ve added a 3mm higher stack to the heel.

That means that the Clifton 10’s heel-to-toe drop went from 5mm to 8mm.

It seems Hoka did this because the heel compresses quite a bit compared to the forefoot, so they wanted to address that.

Some people may not like this 3mm increase, but this provides a more cushioned feel while maintaining a smooth transition.

This does add a bit more weight compared to the Clifton 9, but not much at all.

Depending on the size, the Clifton 10 generally weighs around 10oz for a size 9.5. The Clifton 9 weighs around 9.2 oz for the same size.

But you don’t really notice the difference.

So who is the Clifton 10 for?

Here’s a simple breakdown…

– Neutral foot mechanics runners

– Those recovering from previous injuries

– Long-distance enthusiasts

– Individuals battling daily foot fatigue

– Professionals spending hours on their feet, such as nurses, restaurant workers, and teachers.

What Are The Key Improvements?

They are…

– More responsive midsole

– Enhanced breathable mesh upper

– Improved durability in high-wear areas

– Subtle fit modifications for better comfort

Lastly, there is one final question to answer in this Hoka Clifton shoe review!

That is…

Is the Hoka Clifton 10 right for you?

Well, there’s only one way to know for sure.

That is to try a pair on.

But not just try them on like normal.

To know for sure if they’re right for your feet, you want to have them professionally fitted.

And you can now schedule a fitting for these by scrolling down and scheduling a time using the calendar below.

2025 Boot Overview

Today we are going to do a nice boot overview of what we have in the store. You’ll see all sorts of different boots, from 6″ boots to police boots, and what makes each one unique for the job they are suited for.

In choosing the right work boots to wear, there are a number of options to choose from. In our store, you’ll find a bunch of 8-inch boots.

The 8-inch boots give more protection for the leg from rebar and other building materials.

These boots come in different styles, including steel toe, composite toe, and logger style with an inch and a quarter higher heel at the back for support.

One of the brands is Carolina, which has a defined heel that allows for easy ladder climbing and decent ankle support.

The boots are waterproof, insulated, and have composite toe versions available.

Danner

Another good brand is Danner.

Danner has a classic line of American-made boots that fit well and are available in 6-inch or 7-inch collections.

Some of the Danner boots are designed for high steel work, featuring a straight crepe sole for better traction and balance.

Boa

For ease, boots with the Boa lacing system are a popular choice as well. The Boa lacing system allows for fast tightening through a dial and easy loosening by popping out the dial.

Boa lacing systems are increasingly being utilized by various companies for their work boots.

In the shoe industry, there is a company that stands out in its commitment to quality, comfort, and style. That is the San Antonio Shoe Company, or SAS Shoes.

SAS was established in the mid-1980s and has carved out a nice little niche as a family shoe company.

And they manufacture all of their shoes right here in the United States.

One distinction from other companies, SAS shoe sizes are the right size and don’t run down a full size, so you get the right fit every time.

What Are Popular Models?

As for the types of shoes they have, there is quite a range. Today we’ll be talking a bit about that.

As for the athleisure shoes, the Journey is one of the most popular for men and the Tour for women.

As we approach warmer temperatures, SAS Shoes also has a line of sandals perfect for spring. There is a sandal to fit every foot in medium, wide, and extra wide widths.

SAS Shoes has something for everyone.

Three Key HOKA Models For 2025

Today, we are going to dive into three key HOKA models for 2025.

The Bondi 9, the Speedgoat, and the Kaha GTX 3.

First off, the Bondi series of shoes has been very popular due to its increased comfort and support.

The Bondi 9 takes an already great shoe and makes it better.

With its Metarocker© and jframe© technology, the Bondi 9 offers a comfortable and stable ride.

One HUGE difference is the availability of extra wide widths for both men and women, making it easier to find the perfect fit.

This is the first time HOKA has offered the Bondi in wide width for women.

Additionally, the Bondi 9 comes in a variety of colors, though black remains the most popular choice here at the store.

For the trail pounders, the Speedgoat is the ultimate trail shoe.

With a waterproof upper, it’s perfect for tackling rugged terrain with ease.

Whether you are an advanced trail runner, hiker, or just casually strolling on trails, the Speedgoat provides a ton of traction when you’re wearing them.

Finally, we have the Kaha GTX version 3.

The Kaha GTX has become an increasingly popular boot.

Starting with a slimmed-out sole, the Kaha GTX 3 can carry a more aesthetic look while still providing cushioning and support in key areas.

As with the Bondi 9, the Kaha GTX 3 also utilizes HOKA’s Metarocker© and jframe© technology for easy, efficient striding.

Lastly, these three key HOKA models are orthotic compatible, and it’s very easy to get your shoes custom-fit for comfort and support.

The bottom line is that these 2025 HOKA models have something to offer for every person, from the comfort and cushioning of the Bondi 9 all the way to the durable Speedgoat and versatile performer in the Kaha GTX 3.

If you’d like to try any one of these three models to see if they’re right for you, scroll down and schedule your appointment below.

Hoka Clifton 9 And Hoka Arahi 7 Comparison

Today, we’re going to look at the Hoka Clifton 9 and the Hoka Arahi 7 comparison. The video below will share a few of the key differences and similarities.

When it comes to the Clifton, it’s a shoe that is worn not just by runners and recommended by them, but it’s also recommended by fitness enthusiasts and podiatrists.

The Clifton 9 is a little bit roomier than the Arahi 6, so it allows your feet to spread out a bit more.

The Clifton also has a good amount of cushion and is lightweight. Although not as much cusion as another popular Hoka shoe, the Bondi.

When it comes to the Arahi, it is also a very versatile shoe and can be worn for many different activities.

It’s comfortable and can be worn all day and is a little bit lighter in weight than the Clifton.

The Arahi offers strong support and stability but isn’t as smooth in the heel to toe transition as the Clifton.

Both offer Hoka’s patented Meta-Rocker and are great for a lot of different foot types.

So based on the Hoka Clifton 9 and Hoka Arahi 7 comparison, which is better for you?

To know for sure just scroll down and schedule an appointment for a shoe fitting between the two.

You’ll be taken through the whole process, and when you’re done, you’ll know exactly which one is right for you.

Hoka Bondi Versus Gaviota

In this post, we’re going to dive into the Hoka Bondi versus the Gaviota. You’ll discover not just what makes both of these shoes so popular but also the differences between the two and which may be better for you.

The Bondi and Gaviota are two of the most popular Hoka models.

So let’s start with the Bondi.

As in previous posts and videos, you’ll see how the Bondi has plenty of cushion, plenty of support, and removable insoles.

It’s the type of shoe that works well for a lot of different people.

It’s a good training shoe, walking shoe, casual shoe, and is one of the most popular shoes that help our customers with foot pain.

I also find that the Bondi 7 is actually a better shoe than the Bondi 8. And you can see why here.

As for the Gaviota, it too has plenty of cushion, support, and removable insoles.

But there are a few key differences.

The first is that it has a wider toe box to allow for your toes to spear out more.

The second big difference is that it has a medial support system, which ads more support on your arch when your foot pronates.

And the fit is a little different than that of the Bondi.

Plus, it’s a few dollars more because there is a bit more material with the shoe.

Either way, both shoes are solid.

If you’re looking at which one is better, it just comes down to how they fit on your feet.

And if you’d like to know which one is a better “fit” for your feet, scroll down and schedule up a time to come to the store for a fitting session, and we can find which one is right for you.

HOKA Bondi 7 Vs. New Balance 1080

Today, we’re going to look at the Hoka Bondi 7 versus the New Balance 1080. In the video below, you’ll see what the biggest differences are and which shoe is better.

When it comes to the Hoka Bondi 7, it is one of the best sellers here at the store. The same can also be said for the New Balance 1080.

Both are great shoes and work for many different types of feet. But each shoe has its differences.

It’s these differences that will push people with certain foot issues or certain types of feet to one model or the other.

But before we dive into the differences, let’s talk about the similarities.

Both shoes have quite a bit of cushion. And when you wear them, you feel the cushion, especially in the Bondi 7’s.

They also are pretty close to the same weight and size.

Both have removable insoles, which are great if you have separate orthotics.

And the Bondi 7’s for men have sizes in medium, wide, and extra wide. Women are only medium and wide.

The 1080’s go from narrow to extra wide as well.

When it comes to the differences, the two biggest ones are…

The Bondi 7’s have what is called a Metarocker. This helps your foot to roll off better as you move forward.

This leads to a bit of a stiffer shoe.

The 1080 does NOT have this Metarocker and has a bit more flex to it, as you’ll see in the video.

There are also different depth sizes with the 1080’s that the Bondi’s don’t have.

Depending on your feet, what you are looking for, and whether you are having some issues will determine which one is right for you.

The only way to know for sure is to try each pair on and have them fitted properly.

If you’d like to see which one is better for your feet, then all you have to do is schedule an appointment by scrolling down and choosing a day and time that works best for you.

Once you do that and you visit the store, you’ll be taken through the fitting process and will see which shoe is best for you.

Saucony Ride 17 Versus Echelon 9

Today, we’re going to look at the Saucony Ride 17 versus Echelon 9. In the video below we’ll break down what the differences are and what type of foot works better for which shoe.

If you are looking for quality shoes, both the Saucony Ride 17 and Echelon 9 fit the bill.

The Saucony Ride 17 is one of the company’s flagship shoes. It’s a neutral shoe with a narrow heel and has a little bit of a tighter fit. It is also lighter than the average training shoe.

The Echelon 9, on the other hand, is a wider shoe and has a lower arch. It is also a neutral shoe and does well with orthotics.

What customers like about the Echelon 9 is that it combines comfort, function, and performance.

Both shoes are very comfortable and have a lot of cushion.

They are also very popular shoes here at the store.

Saucony Ride 17 Top Features:
• PWRRUN cushioning for a responsive feel
