Saucony Ride 17 Versus Echelon 9

Today, we’re going to look at the Saucony Ride 17 versus Echelon 9. In the video below we’ll break down what the differences are and what type of foot works better for which shoe.

If you are looking for quality shoes, both the Saucony Ride 17 and Echelon 9 fit the bill.

The Saucony Ride 17 is one of the company’s flagship shoes. It’s a neutral shoe with a narrow heel and has a little bit of a tighter fit. It is also lighter than the average training shoe.

The Echelon 9, on the other hand, is a wider shoe and has a lower arch. It is also a neutral shoe and does well with orthotics.

What customers like about the Echelon 9 is that it combines comfort, function, and performance.

Both shoes are very comfortable and have a lot of cushion.

They are also very popular shoes here at the store.

Saucony Ride 17 Top Features:
• PWRRUN cushioning for a responsive feel
• Updated mesh upper for improved breathability

Merrell Moab Vertex 2 Boot Review

Today, I’d like to talk about the Merrell Moab Vertex 2. This is a low-cut boot that is quite popular. In the video below I’ll break down some of the basic features that make this boot so popular.

The Merrell Moab Vertex 2 Boot is one of the rare boots that is not only comfortable but also easy to break in.

And if you know anything about boots, most of them are not that comfortable and take quite a long time to break in.

This boot is not like that.

But just because it’s comfortable does not mean that it won’t be able to stand up to the abuse that can be thrown at it from every-day work use.

Now, is this a heavy-duty boot that you can use for the most demanding jobs, no. But it is a good boot for warehouse work and some construction work.

It has a carbon fiber toe, so your toes will be protected from any bangs or light-duty material or equipment that may fall on your toes.

The benefit of the carbon fiber toe is that it keeps the boot light.

And a lightweight boot means less fatigue as the day goes on.

Also, the Vertex 2 has a good shank, which means it is stiff and offers good support.

Plus, it has a removable innersole, so you can customize the fit by using better inserts and orthotics.

Overall, this is a good, durable boot that will fit the needs of many people.

So if you need a boot that is lightweight and comfortable but will also stand up to the daily demands of your job, the Merrell Moab Vertex 2 could be a good option for you.

Hoka Bondi 7 Is Back

That’s right, the Hoka Bondi 7 is back. They’ve decided to reintroduce one of their most popular models for a limited time. Since they’ve done this, I decided to put together a quick walkthrough video for you that breaks down some of the Bondi 7’s features. Check it out.

The Hoka Bondi 7 is a great shoe, and a lot of people love it.

One of the biggest features that people love is the cushion.

It is soft and VERY comfortable.

But it is not so soft that there is no support. You would think that a shoe with as much cushion as this would be flimsy. But it’s far from it.

There is good heel support, the upper and tongue hold your foot in place nicely, and to top it off, it’s lightweight.

It also breathes well.

As for the ride, it’s one of the softest out there. Which you would expect with a shoe with this much cushion.

You will feel like you are sitting a little higher in this shoe than others, but that is because of the way it is built. Generally, it’s not an issue for people and adds to the comfortable feel.

Overall, it’s great to see that the Hoka Bondi 7 is back.

But it’s only for a limited time.

So if you want to try a pair on, scroll down and schedule an appointment in the calendar below.

I look forward to seeing you soon.

Best Boots For Construction Workers

Want to know what are the best boots for construction workers? Watch the video below.

In the video above, we’ll take a bit of a journey across a bunch of different brands, from Red Wing to Danner to Carolina boots, so that way you can see what types of options are out there for good boots.

The thing about boots for construction workers is that there are a lot of different options to select from.

So it’s important to know the demands of your job first so that you can pick the right one.

For example, getting a logger boot with a big heel will not be right for you if you deal with a lot of steel or rebar.

Your heel will catch, and it will become a tripping issue.

So knowing the demands of the job is very important.

Once you know that, then you’ll want a boot that fits correctly.

And the only way you’ll know that is by trying on a pair and having them fitted correctly.

What About Ordering Boots Online?

Of course, you can order your boots online, but it’s not something I recommend for the simple fact that you’ll never be able to try them on before you buy them.

If they don’t fit, you can return them, but you’ll be playing the fitting game and have to buy multiple boots to find the right fit.

The reason you want the boots to fit correctly from the start is that they are much stiffer and tougher on your feet than shoes.

Plus, the demands of your job are much higher than the average job.

So if you have the wrong boot and it doesn’t fit your foot…

There’s a much higher chance of foot pain.

And if you have any foot pain, it will slow you down on the job site and increase your chance of injury.

So having the right boot—one that fits right and feels right—is crucial.

Plus, trying a pair on and having them fitted will give you the chance to go through the best boots and get a feel for what is available.

Here’s The Other Thing About Ordering Boots Online

When it comes to boots, there are a million and one different options.

For example…

Boots with heels

Boots with no heels

Steel toe

Comp Toe

Moc Toe

Oil-resistant or slip-resistant

And on and on.

If that seems like a lot, it is.

With all of that, I’ve found that most aren’t 100% sure what options would be best for them.

And ordering them online doesn’t help with that.

What Can You Do?

First, watch the video above. It will help break some of this down for you and give you a good idea of where to start.

Second, schedule a boot fitting appointment with us. This appointment will take everything you see in this video and customize it specifically to your needs.

We will not only find the right type of boot, but we’ll find the one that fits correctly and won’t cause you any issues.

If you’d like to schedule a boot fitting appointment scroll down and select a date and time below.

Red Wing Boots Overview

So we now have Red Wing boots!!!

In this video, you’ll see an overview of a few of the models we have in stock.

You’ll learn a bit about the…

Red Wing King Toe Boot

The 606/608

Logger boots

And one of their Moc toe boots.

We’ll even dive into a few of the different features of each of the boots, and what makes each model different.

One of the things we’ve realized when it comes to finding good work boots locally, there is a void.

So we’ve stocked up quite a bit to fill that void, and Red Wing is the latest brand we’ve brought in.

Also, we work with larger companies to provide work boots for them and accept vouchers.

So if you’re looking for Red Wing boots, we’ve got them.

Mephisto Harrison Review

Today I have the Mephisto Harrison Review.

Just like the other Mephisto shoes that I carry, such as the…

Ylona

Raine

Edlef

Twain

And the Romea…

The Harrison’s are extremely high-quality.

As well as the other models, they are also hand-made.

And you’ll be able to see the quality and things such as double stitching, brass eyelets, and quality leather in the video.

On top of that, the Harrisons are also pretty comfortable.

And this is a big deal…

They are stylish, and they look really nice.

Oh, there is one other important thing to know.

That is, they run large.

So you will probably have to size down at least one size if not more.

In fact, I am two sizes smaller in some of their shoes.

So these are definitely a pair of shoes you will want to try on to know for sure.

And if you’d like to try them on, scroll down to the calendar below and schedule a time to come in.

I’m pretty sure that you’ll like these shoes.

To learn a bit more, make sure you watch the Mephisto Harrison review video above.

Powerstep Inserts Versus Superfeet Inserts

Today we’re going to dive into PowerStep inserts versus Superfeet inserts.

Just like shoe companies, each insert company approaches how they do things a little bit differently.

Both PowerStep and Superfeet have been around for quite a while.

They are two of the bigger players in the market.

Between the two companies, there are quite a few different offerings with their inserts.

That allows them to cater to various types of feet and/or issues.

And in the video on this page, I break down the approach these two companies take with their inserts, and…

What makes them different.

Even though I’ve carried Superfeet for over 20 years, I wanted to bring PowerStep into the mix because they provide a good product.

And their inserts have been able to help quite a few people.

If you want to know more about the PowerStep inserts versus Superfeet inserts, check out the video on this page.

And if you’d like to see which would be better for your feet, schedule an appointment by using the calendar below.

Mephisto Ylona Review

Today we’re diving into the Mephisto Ylona Review. This is the fourth shoe in the Mephisto video series.

Up to this point, we’ve done reviews of the Mephisto…

Edlef

Raine

And Twain.

All of these have either been slip-on shoes or boots.

But the Ylona is different and it’s specifically for women.

It’s the first “sneaker” that I’m reviewing for Mephisto.

And it’s not just a lace-up sneaker but also zips up as well.

Which you’ll see more about in the video.

To see all the other features of this shoe and why it’s a good one, check out the Mephisto Ylona review video above.

If you’d like to try a pair of the Ylona’s, then click here to schedule an appointment.

Mephisto Twain Review

This is the Mephisto Twain review. Just like the overviews of the Mephisto Raine, and Edlef we are going to break down the top features of this shoe and what makes it a high-quality shoe.

The Twain is specifically for men and it’s similar to the Edlef in that it is a slip-on shoe. It’s a casual shoe, and is quite stylish.

To learn more, make sure you watch the video.

And if you’d like to try a pair on, set up an appointment by choosing a day and time with the calendar below.

Mephisto Raine Review

Here is the Mephisto Raine Review.

This is the 2nd review video of the Mephisto brand shoes that are in the store.

If you’d like to see the first review video of the Mephisto Edlef, click here.

As for the Raine, it’s a bit different. It’s not a shoe, it’s a boot. And it’s made for women.

And this boot is not the “rough and tumble” utility boot like the Danner Vicious, or Hoss Bronc.

The Raine is more of a casual ankle boot.

And in the Mephisto Raine review, you’ll learn about some of the features and benefits of the Raine and what makes it a good boot.

So check it out.
