SAS Shoe Overview For 2025

Today, we’re going to do a quick SAS shoe overview. You’ll learn a bit about some of their sneakers, a bit about their sandals, and some of their dress shoes. Take a look at the video.

In the shoe industry, there is a company that stands out in its commitment to quality, comfort, and style. That is the San Antonio Shoe Company, or SAS Shoes.

SAS was established in the mid-1980s and has carved out a nice little niche as a family shoe company.

And they manufacture all of their shoes right here in the United States.

One distinction from other companies, SAS shoe sizes are the right size and don’t run down a full size, so you get the right fit every time.

What Are Popular Models?

As for the types of shoes they have, there is quite a range. Today we’ll be talking a bit about that.

As for the athleisure shoes, the Journey is one of the most popular for men and the Tour for women.

These shoes come in a number of colors and are well built with great heel support and a very comfortable fit.

As we approach warmer temperatures, SAS Shoes also has a line of sandals perfect for spring. There is a sandal to fit every foot in medium, wide, and extra wide widths.

SAS Shoes also has a line of fashionable flats for men and women, so there’s a shoe to suit every occasion.

What makes SAS unique is their dedication to manufacturing their shoes in the USA.

Their commitment to craftsmanship and quality is obvious, and it shows through their entire shoe lineup.

Whether you need a stylish and comfortable pair of shoes for everyday wear or you need something for a special occasion…

SAS Shoes has something for everyone.

And here at the store, we are happy to provide a good selection of their shoes for you.

Best Shoes For Retail Workers

Today, we are going to talk about the best shoes for retail workers. You’ll learn about a few different brands and see how they are broken up into two separate categories. Check out the video below to see what is best.

If you’ve ever spent hours walking around the mall, then you know how tiring it can be. Imagine doing that day in and day out.

Well, that’s what most retail workers do.

And at the end of the day, not only are they exhausted, but their feet, knees, and backs are sore as well.

Over time, this can create a lot of issues.

So the type of shoes they wear is crucial to keeping their feet happy and preventing future pain.

In the video above, I’ll break down exactly what brands are popular and even what shoes.

It’ll be broken up into two categories.

  1. Sneakers
  2. Dress Casual Shoes

So if you are a retail worker or know someone who is, this video will be useful for you.

If you’d like to try any of these shoes on, either click here to schedule an appointment or scroll down below to schedule it.

Oh, and here’s the transcript of the video if you’d like to see that.

Today I’d like to talk about shoes for retail work purposes. Sneakers are pretty big, I’m big on New Balance. Of course, Hoka, there’s a lot of brands out there. These are tried and true, the 990s, they’re staples in the New Balance line. Made in a lot of widths. Also in the dressier category, there’s really nice looking dress casuals by Mephisto and SAS and, you know, Na’ot. That features removable inner soles. actually structured orthotics even. We have so many styles in here. This is just a tiny little sampling, but pretty much it’s divvied up into people who are wearing sneakers and people who want to wear more of a dress casual shoe for the retail environment. So if you want to try a pair on, come on in.

Introducing SAS

So we wanted to introduce you to the SAS. It’s a great brand that we’re now carrying in stock.

The SAS shoes are a full-line comfort shoe that are true to size.

So if you wear a size 11, that’s the size you would need. Some shoe brands have sizes that are not true to your actual foot size. But SAS is not one of them.

On top of being true to size, they also offer width sizes. So if you have a wider foot, SAS will have something to for you as well.

The things we really love about the SAS shoes are that they are hand-crafted, high-quality, and VERY comfortable.  They’re also made in the U.S.A.

In fact, SAS stands for San Antonio Shoemakers which they prefer to be called, but they don’t mind people calling them SAS.

Something else to note about SAS…

Is that their shoes will accommodate orthotics. So if you have orthotics or know you need a high-quality shoe to go with orthotics, these will work really well.

So let’s take a look at a few of their shoes.

The first one up is the Journey…

The Journey is designed to be an active shoe. Just like the other shoes on this page, it is handcrafted. It includes genuine leather and Mesh uppers.

It also features a removable CoolStep™ footbed, shock-absorbing midsole, and a flexible gripped outsole.

Which basically means it’s a supportive shoe that will keep your feet cool when wearing them in all sorts of activities.

Here’s a picture of them in the store…

The next one up is the JV…

The JV has an adjustable hook and loop strap that lends to a custom fit. Their SAS Comfort Outsole™, Steady Trac Midsole™, and Arcfit™ heel stabilizer all work together to provide great support.

There is also additional support for the three main pressure points of the foot.

The footbed and upper mesh of the shoe keep it lightweight and help prevent heat buildup under your feet.

Basically, what all that means is that it is a very supportive, lightweight shoe, where the bottoms of your feet don’t get that hot.

Here’s a shot of a few of them in the store…

The last one is the Tour Mesh…

The Tour Mesh has a removable footbed, shock-absorbing midsole, and an outsole that is flexible to keep your foot supported and cushioned.

It also provides all-day comfort with firm heel support and includes their exclusive EZ Lace™ system. All of it is designed to create a very comfortable, well-fitting shoe.

Here’s a picture on the Tour Mesh in the store…

Something else to know about SAS. They’ve been around since the mid 1970’s. They have a long history of making high-quality shoes that quite a few people like.

So if you’re looking for a brand of shoes that are high-quality, comfortable, comes in wide-widths, and are made in the U.S.A…
