Today we want to take a minute to spotlight Rikki G.

Over the years Rikki has had to overcome quite a few challenges with foot pain. In her spotlight video above, you’ll see how she went from almost giving up to getting her entire life back. It’s a great story, so watch the video above.

Meet Rikki

Rikki was born without a hip socket. Over her life it has caused some issues. But it wasn’t until a few years ago when foot pain started to show up. And when it did, it got worse very quickly.

So Rikki did what most people do when they start to have foot pain.

✅ She tried pain relievers like lidocaine.

✅ She used a heating pad.

✅ Different insoles.

✅ Knee braces because the pain started impacting her knees.

She even went to a physical therapist that professional athletes go to.

But no matter what she tried or who she saw, the pain never got any better.

It got so bad that she could barely move around her house and go up and down steps.

Just to do that, she had to use a cane.

And so she began to feel like “less of a person” and started wondering if life was “worthwhile anymore.”

It got so bad that she realized she couldn’t live in her house anymore and was actively searching for a new ranch-style home.

So the thought of giving up her home was devastating.

The final straw was when she and her friends had a big trip planned, and Rikki was thinking of cancelling because she didn’t want to be in pain and hold her friends back.

Meet Sue

Years ago, Sue was diagnosed with a degenerative hip issue in her left hip.

As time passed, the hip got worse, and other issues popped up in her back, knees, and feet.

The pain was becoming difficult to manage.

Eventually it got to the point where she had to have her hip replaced.

That helped with the pain quite a bit but over time, the pain in her back, knees, and feet started to get worse.

It got to the point where she was constantly thinking about how long she would have to spend standing in lines.

How far it was to walk for simple chores.

Basically, she started to avoid basic tasks because the pain was so bad.

Eventually, she visited a podiatrist who said she would need surgery on her feet.

Pete B’s Customer Spotlight

Today, we’d like to share with you Pete B’s customer spotlight. Pete is someone who has a pretty typical story when it comes to foot pain. So we wanted to spotlight his story so that you can see how he found relief. So make sure you watch his video below.

Meet Pete

As mentioned above, Pete had a very common story when it comes to foot pain. In fact, he had severe plantar fasciitis that was triggered while on a run.

He said, “I was on a long run one day. I was about 8 miles in. I felt something in my foot give.”

The pain that he felt from this was pretty severe.

So much so that he was struggling to walk, let alone run.

On top of that, Pete has a very demanding occupation. He travels around the country and sets up for Renaissance fairs.

This means his work is very physical and demanding.

As Pete said, “it’s up and down ladders, it’s paintbrushes, it’s digging post holes, it’s whatever needs done.“

And the plantar fasciitis was severely limiting what he could do.

To try and fix the pain, he scheduled an appointment with a doctor, but it was a two-month wait to get in. In the meantime, he scoured the internet and tried all the tricks and gimmicks he could find. But nothing worked.

Then a friend mentioned to go and see Frank.

So Pete scheduled an appointment and went to see Frank.

The Shoe-Fitting Experience

As soon as Pete walked in, Frank sat him down and went to work.

Pete said, “He knew I had a problem. And he just did his thing, and you need to do this, this, and this.”

And Pete agreed.

So Frank went to work and not only found the right shoes, but he also found the perfect boots as well. But that wasn’t everything.

Meet Amy

Amy is an amazing person who has gone through quite a bit with her feet, and we wanted to do a little spotlight on her and share her story with you.

And this is her story…

A little over a year ago, Amy’s feet began to hurt. It wasn’t a lot of pain, but as time went on, the pain intensified.

Eventually, it got to the point where Amy could barely put a shoe on her feet.

In fact, the only thing that she could do was wear a pair of CROCS.

As she said, “On a scale from one to ten, the pain was a nine.”

It was so bad that she thought she had a broken bone on the top of her foot.

Finally, the pain was so unbearable that she decided to go to a doctor.

Once there, they took a look at her feet and did x-rays, and the results came back as having severe arthritis in her feet.

Once she had the diagnosis, she knew she would need help finding ways to manage the arthritis.

So she thought about what would be the best way to start, and she remembered that years ago she visited Frank’s Custom Shoe Fitting.

So she decided that would be her first stop.

Little did she know that once she came in, the experience would turn into something she never expected.

The Shoe-Fitting Experience

Dale’s Customer Spotlight

Meet Dale

About 20 years ago, Dale broke her ankle. As the years passed, she developed a few other issues.

Then one morning last year, Dale woke up and couldn’t put any pressure on her foot.

The only option she had was to go to the emergency room and get help.

After leaving the emergency room, she met with an orthopedist to see if they could come up with a solution to fix her pain.
