Pete B’s Customer Spotlight

Today, we’d like to share with you Pete B’s customer spotlight.  Pete is someone who has a pretty typical story when it comes to foot pain. So we wanted to spotlight his story so that you can see how he found relief.  So make sure you watch his video below.

Meet Pete

As mentioned above, Pete had a very common story when it comes to foot pain. In fact, he had severe plantar fasciitis that was triggered while on a run.

He said, “I was on a long run one day. I was about 8 miles in. I felt something in my foot give.”

The pain that he felt from this was pretty severe.

So much so that he was struggling to walk, let alone run.

On top of that, Pete has a very demanding occupation. He travels around the country and sets up for Renaissance fairs.

This means his work is very physical and demanding.

As Pete said, “it’s up and down ladders, it’s paintbrushes, it’s digging post holes, it’s whatever needs done.“

And the plantar fasciitis was severely limiting what he could do.

To try and fix the pain, he scheduled an appointment with a doctor, but it was a two-month wait to get in. In the meantime, he scoured the internet and tried all the tricks and gimmicks he could find. But nothing worked.

Then a friend mentioned to go and see Frank.

So Pete scheduled an appointment and went to see Frank.

The Shoe-Fitting Experience

As soon as Pete walked in, Frank sat him down and went to work.

Pete said, “He knew I had a problem. And he just did his thing, and you need to do this, this, and this.”

And Pete agreed.

So Frank went to work and not only found the right shoes, but he also found the perfect boots as well. But that wasn’t everything.

Because of the plantar fasciitis, the pain, and what the fitting process revealed, Pete also needed custom orthotics.

He realized that if he had just gone to a “regular shoe store,” he would have never received the help he needed.

Pete said, “A regular shoe store would’ve just sold me another pair of running shoes.”

The Result

After finding the right pair of shoes, the right pair of boots, and having the custom orthotics, Pete noticed that his feet started to feel better each day.

Not only was work a lot easier, but about a month later he was able to start running again.

In fact, in just a few months he was able to run a half-marathon.

As Pete said, the best part was, “My plantar fasciitis, it’s gone.”

And now, Pete has no more pain and no issues with plantar fasciitis.

Best Shoes And Inserts For Plantar Fasciitis

Today, we’re going to talk about the best shoes and inserts for plantar fasciitis. You will see what type of shoes are best, what to look for in those shoes, and what type of inserts will be helpful and why. So check out the video below to learn more.

Did you know that plantar fasciitis is the most common foot issue? Around 10% of the population has to deal with this ailment.

And it’s not always caused by running or athletic endeavors.

In fact, there are industries where it tends to be more prevalent than others.

For example…

Healthcare

Education

Construction

Food Services

And the warehouse industry.

Treating plantar fasciitis can be a very frustrating experience as well.

But the first step is getting it diagnosed by a doctor so you can know for sure that you are dealing with PF.

Once you know for sure, there are many ways you can treat it.

One of the simplest ways is to wear the best shoes and inserts for your feet.

That being said, there’s a good chance that your current shoes are not helping. In all likelihood, they’re probably making it worse.

But when you look for the best shoes and inserts, you have to know what will actually help.

Just because a commercial says a soft insert will be best for you does not mean it will.

In fact, a soft insert could be the worst thing for you.

So to find what works best, you’ll need shoes that have specific features, such as a strong heel counter, good cushioning, and a rocker.

Not all shoes have this.

Many times, you’ll need an insert too.

The inserts will generally need a deeper heel cup, and a way to support your arch.

And in the video above, you’ll see more details about why.

But the only way to know for sure what the best shoe and insert are for your feet is to try them on and have them fitted.

Without a professional fitting, you’ll just be shooting in the dark and hoping it will work.

And if your plantar fascia pain is really getting to you and you need help with it, I can help you find the best shoes and inserts for your feet.

If you’d like my help, scroll down below and schedule an appointment.

Once you do that, I’ll be able to help you find the best shoes and inserts for plantar fasciitis pain.

What Is Plantar Fasciitis And What Helps It?

So what is plantar fasciitis? Well, in short, it’s one of the most common causes of foot pain. It’s estimated to impact around 2 million people in the United States each year. And one-in-ten people will have to deal with it during their lifetime.

As for who gets it…

Anyone can develop it. It’s not just runners or athletes. Although there is a higher likelihood of developing it if you’re active.

It is most common in people between the ages of 40-60, and obesity has been found to be a factor because of the added weight and stress placed on the ligaments and tendons of the feet.

If you have been diagnosed with plantar fasciitis is there anything related to shoes that can help?

Absolutely, and the video above will break down what to look for and what to stay away from if you’re dealing with it.

Plus, the video will explain what is going on with your foot and how that is triggering the issues.

So if you’d like to know more about what plantar fasciitis is and what you can do about it, make sure you watch the video.
